Activate Software - Using Your Fox Movie Manager disk
To activate your software, you need to copy your license key into the program directory. This directory is typcially C:\Program Files\Fox Movie Manager.
Follow the steps below to activate your software when you are using Hotmail to receive your license key.
1. With your Fox Movie Manager disk in your CD drive, open your My Computer and right-click over your CD Drive. Click Explore from the menu that opens.
2. The files the disk is containing will be shown. Double-click on the
License File folder to find your license key.
3. Right-click over the
FMMkey_##.license file and click
Copy. The file will now be stored on your computer clipboard.
4. Open your
My Computer again and navigate to the directory that you install the software. This is typically
C:\Program Files\Fox Movie Manager.
5. Once you are in the program directory, right-click over the window and click
Paste. This will copy the license key into this directory.
6. Start the
Fox Movie Manager and click
Help->About from the main menu.
7. If your software was activate, you will see your name and email address in this window. Your software is not activate and will not expire.
